About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Quality Coordinator to join our team, responsible for ensuring the highest standard of data quality and management in our geophysical operations. As a Tech/IT enthusiast with an interest in IT or geology, you will play a critical role in maintaining our data integrity and adhering to established quality control protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Meticulously scrutinizing data for abnormalities, or inconsistencies
- Daily maintain the highest standard of data with excellent attention to detail
- Effectively managing and organizing large volumes of geophysical data
- Manage file naming conventions, metadata management, and proper archiving
- Adhere daily to established quality control protocols
- Manage standardized checklists and procedures
- Ensure daily consistency and accuracy in data evaluation
- Collaborating with field crew to address and resolve quality-related concerns in a timely manner
Requirements
- Matric Graduate, minimum diploma or equivalent
- Ability to effectively manage data
- Proficiency in Excel
- Tech/IT enthusiast
- Keen eye for detail with a high level of attention to detail
- Passion for maintaining the highest standard
- Enjoys structure and routine
- Good Communication Skills
- A keen team player
