South Africa: Debtors Manager

Leading logistics provider based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs. Specializes in reliable transportation and distribution services. Looking for a Debtors Manager to join their team. Lead a dynamic debtors team in a well-established logistics company Play a key role in optimizing accounts receivable and minimizing credit risk Be part of a collaborative and growth-oriented environment What you will be doing: Develop strategies to improve cash flow and accounts receivable processes Lead and support a team of debtors clerks Establish and maintain credit policies and procedures Monitor aging reports and implement collection strategies Approve credit applications and limits Conduct credit reviews to reduce risk Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers Resolve billing issues in collaboration with sales and operations Prepare reports on receivables performance and trends Stay informed on industry regulations and best practices What we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (advantageous) Minimum 3 years’ experience in debtors management Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Solid understanding of accounting and credit management Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel Analytical skills for financial reporting and forecasting Experience in logistics or transportation preferred Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines Benefits and unique aspects: Opportunities for career growth and development Supportive and collaborative work culture Please note if you haven’t heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
