A well-established Dental Practice in Montana, Pretoria is seeking a HPCSA-registered Dental Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable, dental assistant looking for a stable position in a professional practice environment.
Ideal Starting Date: 1 May 2026
Minimum Requirements:
- HPCSA registration as a Dental Assistant (essential)
- Previous experience working as a dental assistant
- Comfortable working in a busy dental practice
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and well-organised
- Advantageous: experience working on the Elixir billing system
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Chairside assisting during dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and instruments
- Infection control and sterilisation of instruments
- Assisting with patient preparation and comfort
- Managing stock, materials, and basic inventory control
- Accurate record keeping and patient file management
- Assisting with basic administrative and reception duties when required
- Working closely with the dentist and practice team to ensure smooth daily operations
Salary & working hours: Will be discussed during the interview and salary will be dependent on experience.
