Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer (Hardware) to join a market-leading technology company specializing in high-reliability electronic systems. This role focuses on the design, enhancement, and industrialization of advanced electronic products deployed in harsh and safety-critical environments.

You will bridge the gap between concept and production, driving innovation in embedded systems, analog/digital design, and wireless technologies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Eng (Electronics) or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in full lifecycle electronic product development
  • Expert in PCB design; Altium Designer essential
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded applications
  • Deep understanding of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
  • Experience with FPGAs, DSP, and RF design (antenna integration) is highly advantageous
  • Proven track record in taking products from R&D through to high-volume manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design analog and digital electronic circuits from concept to production
  • Develop embedded firmware (C/C++) for microcontrollers and DSPs
  • Conduct circuit simulation (LTspice, PSpice, MATLAB) and prototype validation
  • Ensure robust Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT)
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration
  • Drive EMC/EMI compliance and certification against international standards
  • Design test jigs and automated test equipment for production validation
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews
  • Manage version control (Git/SVN) and maintain rigorous technical documentation
