Job Description

New opportunity for a hospitality experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of this 4* branded hotel based in Accra, Ghana. As Director of Finance, you’ll be responsible for overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, internal controls, compliance, & overall financial performance. This role partners closely with the General Manager & department heads to drive profitability, ensure regulatory compliance, & support business growth. This role requires expertise with Sun System financial software. Requirements: Fluency in English Previous experience in Sub Saharan Africa Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred) Minimum 2 years in a similar position or senior FM position Expert in hotel financial systems & IFRIS Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting & financial operations of the hotel Prepare & manage annual budgets & forecasts Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenses, & profitability Ensure compliance with financial regulations & brand standards Lead audits & maintain strong internal control systems Provide financial analysis & strategic recommendations Salary Package: $2500 basic local allowance single or spousal expat benefits (no kids)
