About the Role
Our client, SPILASTYLE CC, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Dye Sublimation & Branding Operator to join their apparel production team in Kew, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in dye sublimation printing, branding processes, garment customization, and layout design for print files. This position requires both technical printing knowledge and creative design skills to deliver high-quality branded apparel and promotional products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain dye sublimation printers, heat presses, and related branding equipment.
- Set up, print, and press custom designs onto garments, fabrics, and other materials.
- Prepare and manage print-ready layouts and artwork files for sublimation.
- Ensure colour accuracy, alignment, and print quality throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with clients or internal teams to create custom apparel designs and branding concepts.
- Apply logos, graphics, and brand elements to clothing and promotional products.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in dye sublimation printing and apparel branding.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW for design and layout preparation.
- Strong understanding of print file setup, colour profiles, and design scaling.
- Experience in custom apparel production (e.g., T-shirts, sportswear, uniforms, or promotional items).
- Good mechanical understanding of heat presses and sublimation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
Salary & Benefits
R 18 000 – R 20 000 per annum.
