About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Manager to oversee the operations of our sugar cane, timber, and citrus farms in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and excellent management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment and machinery for agricultural use
- Manage daily farm activities, including crop monitoring and maintenance
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources, labor, and equipment
- Develop and implement effective farming strategies to optimize yields and profitability
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the agricultural field
- Experience in sugar cane, timber, and citrus production
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team
- Valid driver’s license and computer literacy
- Ability to communicate effectively in Zulu and English languages
- Maintenance-oriented with problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
