Job Description

Hospitality and Outdoor New Vacancy – Food & Beverage Manager Resort- Hartbeespoort Dam Requirements Previous F&B Manager experience- Essential Drivers License- Essential Managing the F&B footprint in its entirety which includes all restaurants, bars, and conferencing & events operations. Leading the team to deliver outstanding guest and staff service experiences and performance. Managing the F&B budget and achieving operational profitability by driving sales targets and managing costs. Maintain or improve the established standards of food hygiene, cleaning, and food handling to ensure impeccable quality within the outlets for compliance with regulations. Manage supplier relations to ensure consistent timely delivery of fresh quality ingredients. Ensure that stock ordering, receiving, stock takes and requisitions procedures are strictly followed according to par levels and company standards for better accuracy. Having a strong ability and willingness to train, mentor, develop and continually improve the service brigade. Description The position requires shift and weekend work as well as duty manager responsibilities. Daily cash ups capturing every morning for bookkeeper and counting of cash Daily logging of Fuel on Fuel Smart Issuing of daily floats and keys End of day commercial entity cash-up Loading of invoices on Oracle for payment Daily capturing of petty cash and imprest card purchases on Oracle Checking and sending of daily speedpoint batch reports Co ordinating of any private functions/weddings and celebrations Assist with midweek and month end stock takes Creating and maintaining menus that reflect current culinary trends and meet guest preferences. Handling guest feedback and resolving any issues or complaints promptly. Weekly and monthly stock reports Every second weekend – visibility of management presence on the floor Transport of staff on the resort if needed Assist commercial manager with any other duties Package – Salary: R 20 000 per month – Live Out Position Start Date: ASAP
