Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all financial transactions, reporting, and processes comply with local regulations, accounting standards, and Group financial governance requirements.
- Oversee core financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and working capital management.
- Manage statutory reporting, tax compliance, and financial audits, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insight to business leaders to support decision-making and improve financial performance.
- Maintain strong internal controls and risk management, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting finance transformation projects (including ERP implementations).
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Completed SAICA articles ideally.
- Around 7-8 years of experience in financial management, reporting, or finance business partnering roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial governance, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.
- Experience working in multinational or global organisations is highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, treasury, and working capital management.
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory reporting.
- Ability to provide strategic financial insights to business leaders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives would be advantageous.
