Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a warm, guest-focused FOH / Spa Therapist for a luxury safari lodge situated in the Balule area of Greater Kruger. This dual-role position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys guest interaction, is confident managing front-of-house responsibilities, and can deliver professional spa treatments to a high standard.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and welcoming guest experience while also providing professional spa treatments. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask within a small team environment in a remote bush setting.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House Duties
Welcome and host guests, ensuring a warm and professional lodge experience
Assist with guest check-ins, guest communication, and daily lodge coordination
Support meal hosting and assist with service flow where required
Handle guest requests, queries, and feedback professionally and efficiently
Assist with basic administration and lodge reporting as required
Spa Responsibilities
Deliver spa treatments confidently and professionally, including massages and relevant therapies
Conduct guest consultations and recommend appropriate treatments
Maintain treatment room hygiene, cleanliness, and stock levels
Promote spa services through guest engagement and upselling to maximise bookings and commission
Requirements
Previous front-of-house or guest-facing experience within a lodge or high-end hospitality environment is advantageous
Qualified Spa Therapist with relevant certification, or proven treatment experience
Confident in guest engagement, hosting, and service recovery
Professional presentation with strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and multitask within a small team
Willingness to live and work in a remote bush environment
Package
Salary negotiable dependent on experience
Commission on spa treatments
Live-in accommodation provided
Meals provided while on duty
