Job Description

Luxury Hospitality Group with offices based in Dar es Salaam and Arusha is looking for a Group IT Manager. As the Group IT Manager you will lead the strategy; infrastructure and security of technology across multiple business units or locations ; ensuring operational stability and digital transformation. Responsibilities include developing IT policies, managing budgets; overseeing team performance ; ensuring system uptime, and managing vendors. They bridge technical operations with strategic company goals. Frequent travel between properties required. Duties: Strategy & Governance: Define Group-wide IT standards, SOPs, and policies. Develop long-term IT strategies and technology roadmaps. Infrastructure & Security: Oversee servers, networks, and end-user devices across all sites. Strengthen cybersecurity and conduct risk assessments. System Management: Ensure uptime and performance of core systems (e.g., ERP, SAP). Team Leadership: Lead; mentor, and train IT staff, driving, and fostering a culture of innovation. Budgeting & Vendor Management: Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor contracts. Performance Reporting: Produce, and analyse IT performance reports, ensuring, and enhancing service quality. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 7+ years in IT Expert in ORACLE & PMS (Opera/Prologic) and remote connectivity (Starlink/Satellite) Cybersecurity for guest data and centralized server management skills Proficiency in network management, cloud solutions, and system administration. Strong leadership, project management, and, communication skills.
