Job Summary

Are you a beverage enthusiast with a flair for mixology and extensive wine knowledge? Join our dynamic and expanding restaurant group as a Beverage Manager in Durban. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant beverage operations to ensure seamless service delivery Manage staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling, to maintain a motivated team Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering outstanding service Implement and maintain hygiene and safety standards in compliance with regulations Monitor inventory levels and oversee the ordering of supplies Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality food production Meet financial objectives by forecasting needs, preparing budgets, and managing expenditures Qualifications and Experience Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Beverage Manager, or similar role Minimum of 2 years of experience in a luxury restaurant setting Strong mixology and wine knowledge essential Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred Ability to thrive under pressure and in fast-paced environments Preferred Skills Knowledge of restaurant software, inventory management, and POS systems Strong financial acumen and problem-solving capabilities Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene advantageous Multitasking abilities and effective task prioritization Additional language proficiency is a plus Working Conditions: Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays Dynamic and fast-paced work environment Join us in shaping an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
