About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join our team in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a small animal veterinary practice and be willing to work as a locum for a period of 10 days to 1 month.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations with clients
- Perform surgeries under the Microvet Operating System
- Assist with animal care and discharge from hospital
- Work collaboratively with a vet assistant and kennel hand
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a small animal veterinary practice
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for client consultations
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (training provided)
Qualifications
- Formal education in Veterinary Medicine (Bachelor’s or equivalent)
- Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
