About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Head Guide to join our team at a 5-star game lodge in Hoedspruit. With at least 4 years of experience as a Senior Guide or Assistant Head Guide, you will be responsible for leading guided safaris and providing exceptional guest experiences. If you have a passion for wildlife conservation and a talent for sharing your knowledge with others, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead guided safaris for guests in the surrounding game reserve
- Develop and implement educational programs for guests on wildlife conservation and management
- Collaborate with other guides and lodge staff to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and safari activities
- Conduct pre-safari briefings and provide post-safari debriefs
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Senior Guide or Assistant Head Guide
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Strong knowledge of wildlife conservation and management principles
