About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Industrial Instrumentation Sales Engineers to join our team in Sandton, South Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and providing technical solutions to clients across a geographically defined area. Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth and meeting yearly budgets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibit the relevant product knowledge to identify and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Ensure yearly budgets are met.
- Sell Industrial Instrumentation solutions into a geographically defined area.
- Prepare, in conjunction with management, the annual budget.
- Interface at a high level to Principles.
- Prepare and present product presentation to clients.
- Submit weekly call reports.
- Attend weekly sales meetings.
- Build solid relationship with staff/clients and Principles.
- To be proactive in developing sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Technical qualification or plant experience.
- Proven sales track record, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales within Industrial Instrumentation.
- Knowledgeable in Industrial Automation, with experience in selling solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Client-driven and customer-focused mindset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Mature personality with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to operate independently.

Salary & Benefits
Basic salary: R30 000 per annum. Remuneration depending on experience, including:
- Open-ended commission (OTE), based on sales margin.
- Car and fuel allowance.
- Pension.
- Medical aid.
