About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Industrial Instrumentation Sales Engineers to join our team in Sandton, South Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and providing technical solutions to clients across a geographically defined area. Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth and meeting yearly budgets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit the relevant product knowledge to identify and provide appropriate technical solutions.
  • Ensure yearly budgets are met.
  • Sell Industrial Instrumentation solutions into a geographically defined area.
  • Prepare, in conjunction with management, the annual budget.
  • Interface at a high level to Principles.
  • Prepare and present product presentation to clients.
  • Submit weekly call reports.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings.
  • Build solid relationship with staff/clients and Principles.
  • To be proactive in developing sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Technical qualification or plant experience.
  • Proven sales track record, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales within Industrial Instrumentation.
  • Knowledgeable in Industrial Automation, with experience in selling solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Client-driven and customer-focused mindset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Mature personality with outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to operate independently.

Salary & Benefits

Basic salary: R30 000 per annum. Remuneration depending on experience, including:

  • Open-ended commission (OTE), based on sales margin.
  • Car and fuel allowance.
  • Pension.
  • Medical aid.
