About the Role
Our client is an established financial services provider offering tailored insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ insurance needs and risk exposure
- Recommend suitable short-term insurance solutions
- Provide accurate quotations and policy comparisons
- Explain policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and premiums clearly
- Close new business opportunities
- Retain and service an existing book of clients
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant
- Maintain up-to-date and organised client records
- Adhere to FAIS and relevant regulatory requirements
- Apply Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles consistently
- Maintain required CPD hours
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Generate leads through networking and referrals
- Provide ongoing policy reviews and advice
Requirements
RE5 certification
Class of Business (Personal Lines and Commercial Lines)
Relevant insurance qualification
2–5 years’ experience in short-term insurance
Proven experience managing and growing a client portfolio
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications required.
Salary & Benefits
Basic salary of R25 000 – R35 000 per month
