About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Intune System Engineer to join our team in South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting application patching and packaging processes, ensuring compliance and security across our Windows environment. Utilizing SCCM and Intune for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting, they will work closely with our security and IT teams to improve patch management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support application patching and packaging processes
- Oversee Windows and Microsoft patching to ensure compliance and security
- Utilize SCCM and Intune for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Work closely with security and IT teams to improve patch management strategies
- Diagnose failed patches, analyse logs, and resolve system conflicts
- Ensure compliance with security policies and vulnerability remediation requirements
Requirements
- 8 years of experience with Intune
- Expertise in the full lifecycle of application patching and packaging
- Knowledge of Windows patching, specifically Microsoft WuFB update processes
- Understanding of vulnerability management and remediation processes
- Nice to have: PowerShell Scripting for automation, patch deployment, and reporting
- Reporting and Analytics ability to extract and analyse patching data using tools like Power BI or Excel

- Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar
