About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our luxury wine estate team in Stellenbosch/Brackenfell. As a key member of our design team, you will assist in creating visual concepts that communicate ideas, inspire audiences, and support our brand identity across digital and print platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of digital and print design materials (social media graphics, brochures, flyers, presentations, banners, etc.)
- Support senior designers and marketing teams with design projects
- Prepare and edit images, layouts, and illustrations
- Ensure brand consistency across all design outputs
- Revise designs based on feedback
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience in graphic design (internship experience acceptable)
- Proficiency in design software such as: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
- Basic understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of motion graphics or video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
- Experience with Canva or other online design tools
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
