About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Legal Secretary to join our reputable legal practice specialising in Conveyancing and General Litigation, based in Pinetown with plans for relocation to modern offices in Kloof in mid-2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe digital dictations and format legal documents, contracts, and correspondence to a professional standard.
- Manage the full lifecycle of legal files, ensuring all records are meticulously organised and compliant.
- Maintain client data and track workflow progress using the MS Office suite.
- Assist the broader team with ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure seamless daily office flow.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Proven ability to type from digital dictation with high speed and accuracy.
- Previous experience within a legal environment (Attorneys or Conveyancers) is preferred.
- Reliable transport for commuting between Pinetown and Kloof areas.
