About the Role
The role supports the Office Manager in maintaining stock management, capturing Stock data, and maintaining a Stock database to ensure accurate inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving shipments and signing paperwork upon receipt
- Capturing stock in the system
- Printing Bar codes and attaching them to items
- Allocating Stock to branches
- Sending and capturing items that need to be couriered to customers
- Inspecting contents to ensure they are undamaged
- Verifying packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
- Contacting suppliers or shippers if a mistake is identified
- Assuming responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
- Labeling deliveries and allocating them to their designated place
- Ensuring invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting in inventory control
Requirements
- South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
- Must not have participated on the YES programme before
- Matric
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
