About the Role

TMA Proactive Partners is seeking a dynamic and talented Supply Chain Graduate to join their team in the transportation of bulk commodities from mines to end users around the world. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the industry and a strong desire to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport Documentation
  • Freight Forwarding
  • Shipping
  • Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory
  • Assist in the development of supply chain strategies and initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with teams to coordinate all aspects of the supply chain, including production, procurement, logistics, and distribution
  • Analyse supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to provide updates on the status of supply chain operations
  • Assist in the resolution of supply chain issues and conflicts as they arise

Requirements

  • Honours degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Honours in Business Administration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to rotate across the business departments and be away from the appointed place of work and work at the mines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Attention to Detail
  • Knowledge of industry practices and trends is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Honours in Business Administration
