Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Johannesburg (Melrose)

Role Overview

A specialized financial services firm providing end-to-end solutions for aircraft and helicopter acquisition, maintenance, and operation seeking an exceptionally skilled and forward-thinking Marketing Manager to lead and drive all marketing activities across the Group and its incorporated entities.
This role requires a senior marketing professional who comes forward with proven, exceptional marketing experience, and who is capable of independently developing innovative, tailored marketing strategies for multiple businesses operating under one group structure.
The successful candidate must be able to think strategically, creatively, and out of the box, adapting marketing approaches to suit different entities, audiences, and objectives, while maintaining strong group brand alignment. This is not a purely executional role it requires ownership, initiative, and original thinking.

Key Responsibilities
Group Marketing Strategy & Leadership
Develop, own, and execute distinct yet aligned marketing strategies for each company within the Group.
Proactively identify marketing opportunities and bring new ideas, concepts, and strategies forward without reliance on instruction.
Apply out-of-the-box thinking to differentiate the group and its subsidiaries within the aviation and finance sectors.
Ensure all strategies support commercial objectives, asset visibility, investor engagement, and brand growth.
Brand & Corporate Communications
Lead and protect the group brand, while tailoring messaging appropriately for different entities and markets.
Oversee all corporate communications, company profiles, aircraft marketing material, presentations, and investor-facing content.
Ensure messaging is professional, credible, and aligned with the standards of the aviation finance industry.

Digital, Content & Campaign Strategy
Oversee all digital platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing, and online campaigns.
Guide content strategy and storytelling across aviation assets, transactions, corporate milestones, and events.
Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns that go beyond standard approaches and generate real engagement and leads.
Sales, Asset & Investor Support
Work closely with sales, asset management, and executive teams to create impactful marketing collateral for aircraft sales, leasing, and portfolios.
Design marketing approaches that suit different target audiences, including operators, investors, lessors, and partners.
Budget, Suppliers & Performance
Manage the group marketing budget responsibly and strategically.
Appoint, brief, and manage external agencies, designers, photographers, and service providers.
Measure performance, report on results, and continuously refine strategies to improve effectiveness.
Events, Industry Presence & Visibility
Coordinate marketing support for airshows, industry events, conferences, and corporate functions.
Ensure strong brand presence and post-event content that extends value beyond the event itself.

Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for marketing direction
