About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Millwright to join our team at Greys Recruitment in Isando, Gauteng. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging facility by conducting fault analysis and problem solving across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fault analysis and problem solving across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Identify, report, and rectify technical issues on assigned equipment
- Maintain responsibility for workshop, services room (compressed air, cooling water) and technical infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain factory infrastructure including water and air supply systems
- Maintain company vehicle (where applicable)
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum N3 in Millwright Trade Theory
- Trade Tested Millwright (Red Seal)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience post trade test, preferably in plastics manufacturing
- Experience in blow moulding processes (advantageous)
- Knowledge of injection moulding and reheat stretch blow moulding processes
