About the Role
As a Warehouse Manager in our Durban facility, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse staff and team leaders to drive operational efficiency and productivity. You will create a disciplined and accountable working environment that ensures timely fulfilment of customer orders and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and manage warehouse staff and team leaders
- Create a disciplined, productive and accountable working environment
- Oversee receiving, storage, stock movement and dispatch processes
- Ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock control procedures
- Drive operational efficiencies and improve warehouse processes
- Ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders and deliveries
- Maintain warehouse health, safety and housekeeping standards
- Manage staff performance and development
- Monitor KPIs and prepare management reports
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
