About the Role
Employ Africa Group, a leading international contractor, is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join their team on various projects in Belgium. Our client is based in Poland and requires Trade Tested Pipefitters with extensive experience in industrial or construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Work from fabrication drawings and perform layout of pipework independently
- Identify and correct installation issues using problem-solving skills
- Work in confined spaces or at heights where required, ensuring HSE standards are adhered to
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for industrial or construction environments
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings
- Proficient in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems
- Skilled in cutting, bending, threading, and joining pipes using appropriate tools and techniques
- Competence in measuring, marking, and aligning piping components to exact specifications
- Familiarity with carbon steel, stainless steel, and HDPE piping materials
- Knowledge of pipe supports, hangers, and expansion joints
- Experience with pressure testing, leak detection, and quality checks
Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualification (Red Seal) or equivalent in Pipe Fitting
- Minimum 35 years experience in industrial or construction pipe fitting
