Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling:

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks
  • Prepare baseline schedules, recovery plans, and progress reports
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with timelines

Cost Control:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
  • Monitor actual costs vs. planned budgets and highlight variances
  • Implement cost control procedures and recommend corrective actions
  • Track commitments, expenditures, and cash flow

Project Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for management
  • Analyze project performance using KPIs and earned value analysis (EVA)
  • Provide accurate projections and recommendations to improve performance

Risk Management:

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Conduct risk analysis and support contingency planning

Coordination & Compliance:

  • Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and client requirements
  • Support audits and project reviews

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial)
  • Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in planning and cost control within Oil & Gas or Power Generation projects
  • Strong experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
  • Knowledge of cost control systems and project management methodologies
  • Familiarity with EPC projects is highly advantageous
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
