Direct Report: Production Manager
Minimum Qualifying Criteria:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant setting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of injection blow and stretch blow moulding processes
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform fault analysis and resolve technical issues related to machines, moulds, and processes (injection moulding, stretch blow moulding, etc.)
- Set and adjust machines to achieve optimal performance and product quality
- Execute and document preventative maintenance according to established plans
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to resolve operational challenges and implement improvements
- Manage spare parts identification and stock assessments to support uninterrupted production
- Maintain strong health and safety compliance across your area of responsibility
- Ensure clear, accurate reporting and documentation of technical activities and performance data
