About the Role
As a result of an awarded major EPCM project in Namibia, our client is seeking a diligent and experienced QA/QC Inspector to join the on-site project team on a 6:2 roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of construction work across all phases of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and quality checks across all phases of construction to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Monitor contractor quality performance and ensure adherence to approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Identify and report non-conformances and support resolution through corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Liaise with construction, engineering, and HSE teams to ensure integrated quality outcomes.
- Support audits and quality reviews, both internal and external.
- Promote a strong quality culture on site through proactive engagement and leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC roles within EPCM or construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and inspection techniques.
- Experience in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical inspections (multi-discipline experience highly regarded).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality frameworks.
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Relevant certifications in construction quality management or a related field.
Salary & Benefits
- The salary for this role is NAD 15,000 – 20,000 per month, depending on experience.
