Job Title: Millwright with Boilermaker Experience
Job Responsibilities:

Machine Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment (e.g., conveyors, pumps, engines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
- Diagnose machinery malfunctions and make necessary repairs to reduce downtime.

Fabrication and Welding:
- Perform metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling steel or metal components using various welding methods (e.g., MIG, TIG, ARC welding).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and sketches to fabricate custom parts or assemblies.

Alignment and Precision Work:
- Align and calibrate machines using tools like dial indicators and laser alignment systems.
- Precision fitting, including coupling and aligning machinery parts.

Pipe Fitting and Structural Repairs:
- Measure, cut, and fit piping systems, install pressure vessels, and work on structural repairs.
- Perform routine checks and repairs on boilers, pressure vessels, and other structural systems.

Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all installations, repairs, and modifications meet safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and follow lockout/tagout procedures during machinery servicing.

Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of machinery and reduce operational interruptions.

Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently.

Boiler Repair and Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections and repairs on boilers and pressure systems, ensuring their safety and functionality.

Collaboration and Training:
- Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other tradespeople to complete projects.
- Train apprentices or junior millwrights in both millwright and boilermaker tasks.
- Machinery Working experience:
Autoclaves
Boilers
Laiths
Roll Grinders
Mills
Conventional engineering machines.
CNC Machines.
Drives a range of siemens to fanuc.
Qualifications:
- Millwright Certification (Red Seal or equivalent).
- Boilermaker Experience (welding certifications may be required).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and structural components.
- Welding Skills: Competence in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC).
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Skills:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Proficient in troubleshooting, repair, and assembly of machines.
- Fabrication: Ability to fabricate and install metal structures or mechanical components.
- Attention to Detail: Precision is essential when working with machines and welding.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift heavy machinery, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
