About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Reservations Agent for a luxury private game reserve. This remote-based role is ideal for an organised individual with a passion for high-end travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage reservations with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all reservation enquiries via phone, email, and booking platforms with professionalism and warmth
- Manage reservations from initial enquiry through to confirmation, ensuring accurate system input
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and direct guests
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Upsell lodge experiences, private safaris, and additional services to maximise revenue
- Stay up to date with packages, operational updates, and conservation initiatives
- Manage booking amendments, cancellations, and special requests efficiently
- Ensure deposits, invoicing, and payment follow-ups are aligned with company policies
- Assist with reporting, audits, and database management
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a reservations role within luxury hospitality or the safari industry
Proficiency in reservations systems such as ResRequest, PANStrat, Opera, or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages advantageous)
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
Passion for African travel, conservation, and exceptional guest service
