About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in South Africa. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for actively selling and upselling accommodation, venues, conferencing, functions, and activities across all properties, converting enquiries into confirmed bookings through strong sales conversations and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively sell and upsell accommodation, venues, conferencing, functions, and activities across all properties
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through strong sales conversations and follow-ups
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell add-ons such as catering, activities, décor, upgrades, and packages
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from enquiry to close
- Conduct site inspections and client meetings when required
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and revenue generated
- Work closely with operations and reservations to ensure seamless delivery of sold services
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
Requirements
- Minimum 35 years experience in hospitality sales (hotels, lodges, venues, events, conferencing)
- Proven track record of closing deals and exceeding sales targets
- Strong upselling and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and confident
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
Qualifications
No formal education or certifications are required.
Salary & Benefits
