About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to manage defined project packages under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager. This role offers exposure across the full project lifecycle within the water, wastewater, mining, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage project packages through design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and defects liability phases
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering inputs to ensure technical, cost, and schedule compliance
Prepare technical enquiry documentation and evaluate supplier submissions
Support procurement processes, supplier progress tracking, and schedule management
Monitor quality, ISO 9001:2015 compliance, and health & safety requirements
Identify and manage project risks, nonconformities, and defect resolution
Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders

Requirements

BSc or BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
Minimum 3 years project experience in water, wastewater, mining, or related infrastructure
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and project lifecycle coordination
Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
