About the Role

Look no further, then this Sales Executive position based at our Compass Medical Waste Services branch in Western Cape (WC), is just for you. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieving or exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.
- Managing customer requirements to understand, anticipate and meet their needs practically, whilst spotting potential sales opportunities.
- Increase and generate new business sales through existing customer base (up sales/cross sales).
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and opportunities.
- Educate customers on the industry requirements.
- Secure business through signing of long-term service level agreements (customer retention).
- Overseeing customers in both the private and public sectors.
- General administration.
- Gathering market, customer, and competitor information.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to maintain effectiveness during changing conditions.
- Ability to travel and stay away from home for short periods.
Requirements
- Matric or Grade 12 / NQF 4 learning ability.
- Minimum 5 Years sales / medical representative experience.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Sales and Marketing Diploma / Nursing Diploma an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the Health Care Risk Waste Industry an added advantage.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must own reliable transport with a clear and valid driver’s licence.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills at all levels, verbal and written.
- Computer literate with the ability to formulate reports.
