Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience: Minimum of seven years as a Full Stack PHP Developer with experience having built applications from scratch
• In-depth knowledge of Object Orientated Programming (OOP) + relevant design patterns
• Proven experience using with TDD (test driven development) and other BDD tools (such as Cypress, Selenium or Web Driver)
• Expertise in one or more of the PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc
• Strong front-end development skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Commented [GP1]: I feel we should remove all references to PHP and replace with OO Programming language. And then have a small section in the desirable – experience with PHP or similar
• Experience with MySQL including schema design and query optimisation.
• RESTful API design and development: Solid understanding of designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Version control and collaboration tools: Proficient in using version control systems like Git and collaborative development tools such as Jira
• Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to solve complex problems with attention to detail in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with caching technologies such as Redis
• Experience in modern frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular would be advantageous
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience using deployment automation tools like Docker, Jenkins, or Kubernetes
• Prior experience working in the Hospitality Industry would be beneficial
