About the Role
A new luxury safari lodge opening in Namibia requires a hands-on Senior Sous Chef ready to step into senior culinary responsibility. This role suits a driven professional with strong organisational ability and previous exposure to lodge or remote kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen preparation and service
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and hygiene compliance
- Maintain food quality and presentation standards
- Assume full kitchen responsibility in the Head Chef’s absence
Requirements
- Proven Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef experience
- Safari lodge or remote kitchen exposure preferred
- Leadership strength and operational discipline
- Excellent organisational and kitchen administration skills
