? Service Supervisor | Luxury Lodge | Kruger National Park ? ? Salary: Negotiable DOE ? Live-in Position A luxury lodge in the Kruger National Park is seeking a professional and experienced Service Supervisor to lead the lodges front-of-house team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service while managing staff, beverage operations, and ensuring operational excellence in a high-end safari environment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure consistency in service and product delivery to guests Monitor staff and guest areas to ensure compliance with liquor and safety regulations Perform and oversee beverage preparation, service, and presentation, including training staff and maintaining profit margins Develop and implement specialty drinks and daily beverage offerings Promote clear communication between the kitchen and service team through daily briefings and service coordination Investigate and resolve guest complaints professionally Manage stock, forecast consumption, and maintain par levels for crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment Review beverage menus, analyze recipes for costs, and set pricing appropriately Maintain POS systems and use reports to track popular and profitable items Arrange for maintenance and repairs of equipment, including refrigeration and ice machines Requirements Qualifications and Skills: Extensive experience in luxury hospitality, with a strong focus on F&B customer service Knowledge of local, regional, and international wines and beverages Strong understanding of food, cooking methods, products, and supply management Experience with stock control procedures and inventory management Proficiency with all service appliances and equipment Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning products Basic planning, budgeting, and departmental administration skills Key Personal Attributes: Excellent attention to detail and guest-focused mindset Strong written and verbal communication skills Team player with a positive attitude, emotional control, and problem-solving abilities Proactive, creative, and able to use initiative Committed, adaptable, and flexible, with excellent time management Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining high service standards Strong people skills, patience, and openness to feedback If you are a professional, hands-on service supervisor with a passion for luxury hospitality and guest satisfaction, we want to hear from you! ?
