About the Role
We are seeking a confident and guest-facing Sommelier to join our 5-star luxury lodge in Sabi Sands. As a polished hospitality professional, you will deliver exceptional wine experiences, elevate guest dining, and maintain cellar standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised wine service, confident recommendations, and pairings
- Host tastings and wine-led guest experiences where required
- Maintain cellar organisation, storage standards, and stock control
- Drive wine sales through professional storytelling and upselling
- Support broader F&B operations when needed, maintaining 5-star standards
Requirements
- Wine qualification (WSET or equivalent preferred)
- Proven 5* luxury lodge or fine dining wine service experience essential
- Strong general F&B knowledge and service flow understanding
- Excellent communication, guest engagement, and presentation
- Strong admin skills and computer literacy
