Job Description

Wine Estate close to Stellenbosch / Brackenfell area is looking for a Tasting Ambassador. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate that will be responsible for creating unforgettable guest experiences, conducting wine tastings and driving sales. The successful candidate will have a passion for wine and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service . Duties: Conduct wine tastings and educate guests on the winerys portfolio of wines Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences for guests Drive sales and meet or exceed monthly sales goals Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room Assist with inventory management and restocking of wines Represent the winery at local events and festivals Collaborate with the Tasting Room Manager to create new experiences and events Uphold winery standards and policies to ensure guest and employee safety and compliance Requirements: Grade 12 WSET or other wine qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the wine industry Knowledge and passion for wine, including winemaking processes, varietals, and regions Strong sales and customer service skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Availability to work weekends and holidays
