About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Trails Guide to join our client’s private game reserve in the Greater Kruger area. As a Trails Guide, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guided experiences to guests and ensuring their safety and enjoyment on the reserve.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead guided tours and provide expert knowledge of the reserve’s flora, fauna, and wildlife
- Ensure guest safety and well-being at all times
- Maintain the reserve’s trails and infrastructure
- Collaborate with other guides and lodge staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Field Guide within a high-end luxury safari lodge
- Grade 12 / Matric certification
- DEAT registration
- FGASA Level 2 qualification
- Full Trails qualification
- First Aid certification
- Advanced rifle handling skills
- Valid PDP license
- Clear criminal record and SAPS competency
