Job Description
Our client in the Manufacturing and Healthcare industry is looking to employ a Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join their team based in Gqeberha.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and commercially minded procurement professional to play a key role in tactical sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract lifecycle management within an international operating environment. The role offers exposure to global procurement strategies, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Minimum 3 years experience in procurement or sourcing

Proven experience in tactical sourcing and supplier negotiations

Exposure to international procurement environments advantageous
-
Familiarity with warehouse or raw material management advantageous
-
Solid understanding of procurement-related legal and regulatory frameworks

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI
-
Advanced SAP MM experience; SAP Ariba exposure advantageous
Responsibilities:
Tactical Procurement and Sourcing
-
Execute tactical procurement activities across multiple business units
-
Clarify sourcing requests and align specifications with internal stakeholders
-
Apply approved sourcing strategies and RFX methodologies
-
Compile supplier longlists aligned to category strategies
-
Manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes including negotiations and evaluations
-
Lead supplier selection and awarding decisions
Contract and Supplier Management
-
Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts
-
Oversee contract sign-off, archiving, renewals, and usage monitoring
-
Support claims and supplier complaint resolution
-
Maintain supplier records within ERP systems
-
Conduct supplier segmentation and risk assessments
-
Build short- and long-term supplier relationships
Stakeholder and Performance Management
-
Collaborate with local, regional, and global category managers
-
Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders
-
Define, track, and report on procurement KPIs
-
Achieve quarterly and annual procurement targets
-
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and standards
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing processes
