About the Role

The Indian Ocean Export Company is seeking a skilled Trellidor Technician to join our trim shop in Grand Baie, Mauritius. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and manufacturing of Trellidor products, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation: Drive to client sites across Mauritius, installing Trellidor products securely and accurately according to specifications.
  • Manufacturing in trim shop: Assemble Trellidor products from raw materials according to specifications, operate machinery and tools, inspect finished products to ensure they meet company standards and client requirements, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintenance and repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in existing installations, including mechanical and structural issues, and replace damaged or malfunctioning parts as needed.
  • Logistics and inventory management: Conduct regular checks to ensure adequate stock levels of Trellidor components are available at all times, accept and unload Trellidor shipments upon delivery, verify all items received against the packing list/delivery documentation, inspect received products for any damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report any missing or damaged items immediately.
  • General Duties: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service and after-sales support, communicate with clients to understand their security needs and address any concerns, prepare and submit service reports and job completion forms, maintain outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards, stay informed about updates to the Trellidor brand, review product manuals and training materials provided by Trellidor, keep up to date with the latest installation techniques, follow all companies policies and procedures, and perform any other tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

  • 2-years+ experience in manufacturing and installing aluminum products.
  • Drivers license.
  • Higher School Certificate (HSC).
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
