About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vault Officer to join our team in Bloemfontein, South Africa. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the security and integrity of our vault at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the security and integrity of the vault at all times
- Monitor and control authorised access to the vault
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all items entering and leaving the vault
- Ensure strict compliance with all security protocols and procedures
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and security incidents
- Collaborate closely with security personnel and management teams
Requirements
- Valid PSIRA Grade C Registration
- Current PSIRA Cash-in-Transit (CIT) training certificate
- Firearm Competency Certificate for a handgun with business purposes endorsement
- Clear credit record with no adverse history
- No criminal convictions
- Business Affiliation: Must not be currently registered as a director of any company or business
- Medically fit to perform the duties associated with this role
- Previous experience in security or a closely related field is required
Qualifications
- Possession of a Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or recognised equivalent
