About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Videographer, Digital Content Producer & Visual Storyteller to join our premier leader in nature conservation and professional field training. As a creative force behind our brand, you will capture the raw essence of the African bush and translate it into a world-class digital presence. You will work closely with our dynamic Marketing and Sales team to bridge the gap between remote wilderness experiences and a global audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and brainstorm creative video ideas aligned with marketing objectives
- Plan, film, and edit video content for use across websites, social media platforms, and digital campaigns
- Develop and present creative concepts and storyboards
- Execute full post-production workflows, including reviewing footage, rough cuts, sound mixing, colour correction, motion graphics, and final edits using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Capture both video and still photography content, including editing and post-processing images
- Film on location in remote bush environments and at campuses
- Record and edit voice-overs where required
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to ensure brand alignment
- Adapt content style to suit different platforms, audiences, and brand needs
- Manage project archiving, file organisation, and secure backups upon completion
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and platforms to keep content fresh and competitive
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to work long hours when required
- Comfortable creating live content, stories, and real-time social media material
- Willingness and ability to live and work in remote locations on a four-week operational cycle
- Excellent English fluency & literacy
- Social media and digital content creation experience
- Degree or Diploma in Film/Video/Media/Related field equivalent practical experience
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc. (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive CTC package NEG. based on experience and demonstrated skill during the interview process
- Uniform; Meals and accommodation provided if/when conducting camp related work
- Discretionary bonus incentive based on personal and company performance
Work Cycle
- 4 weeks on duty, with approximately 3 weeks spent rotating between various camps to capture content, and the fourth week dedicated to editing, post-production etc.
- 15 annual leave days per annum, with time off accrual as follows: 1.5 days off for every 5.5 days worked, and 1 day for every 17 days worked.
