About the Role
Our client is seeking a Service Technician for their team in Stellenbosch, where you will be responsible for servicing their Water filtration plants, performing diagnostics and repairs, and maintaining equipment to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Client communication and site inspections.
- Servicing of our Water filtration plants, i.e. knowledge of membranes, bag filters, pumps and motors.
- Chemical handling.
- Plumbing experience / Pipe fitting experience.
- Perform all diagnostics and analyses to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely, efficient manner.
- Install, upgrade, and maintain water purification equipment.
- Maintenance of plants on site.
- Fault finding and repairs on site.
- Complete the job task checklist accurately and on time.
- Assist other employees with product and equipment delivery and installation.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Communicate positively with the office, co-workers and customers to maintain positive public relations for the company.
- Basic computer experience.
- Basic Electrical knowledge.
- Must be able to operate independently.
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent
- Drivers License
- Plumbing and pipe fitting knowledge & experience (negotiable)
- English with Afrikaans preferred
- Willingness to travel (preferred)
- Knowledge of Water filtration plants (will be an advantage)
- Electrical experience (advantageous)
- Borehole experience (advantageous)
