Job Summary
Role Description Please note that this position is fee-earning, i.e not a fixed monthly salary. You will be expected to have your own client base and able to procure your own clients efficiently. You will also be allocated clients from the law firm from time to time. Our work environment is supportive, non-toxic, and young. We`re a small intimate team of professionals. We have fun, but we get sh*t done. We`re not atypical and we reward loyalty. Last year end function saw us in Dubai. This year we`re thinking safari. You will not be micromanaged, therefore it is expected that you know what you`re doing. Although, we`re always readily available to help each other within the office. Work from the office, work from home – it doesn`t matter – as long as you get your attendances done on time. The role is located in Cape Town but allows for flexibility to work remotely. You will need to be residing in Cape Town, however. Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience in litigation, commercial, corporate etc. Ability to provide legal advice and guidance Excellent research and analytical skills Proficient in negotiation Ability to work independently and remotely Excellent written and verbal communication skills Admitted Attorney.
