Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily resort operations, ensuring the Resort Manager Hotel Leadership ethos is reflected in every department—from front desk to housekeeping and food services.
- Maintain operational standards and guarantee exceptional guest service by addressing challenges proactively.
- Supervise and motivate staff, providing strong Resort Manager Hotel Leadership by recruiting, training, and guiding hotel staff.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, overseeing the hotel’s financial health by preparing, monitoring, and managing budgets.
- Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel or resort management, particularly within the South African tourism sector.
- Strong understanding of local tourism trends and industry best practices is essential.
- Demonstrated passion for exceptional customer service, with the ability to consistently prioritise guest needs and lead by example.
- In-depth knowledge of timeshare operations and regulations is a must.
- Ability to supervise hotel operations and staff performance, foster a positive work environment, and motivate team members in line with company leadership principles.
