About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Coastal Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, analysis, and design of coastal and marine infrastructure projects, including shoreline protection, ports, and offshore structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of coastal and marine structures (e.g., seawalls, breakwaters, revetments)
- Conduct hydrodynamic and wave modelling studies
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and specifications
- Support environmental impact assessments and coastal risk studies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Assist in project management, including budgeting and scheduling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred, with specialization in coastal or marine engineering)
- 38 years of relevant experience in coastal engineering projects
- Proficiency in modelling software (e.g., MIKE21, Delft3D, SWAN)
- Strong understanding of coastal processes and sediment transport
