Guest Relations Officer / Hotel Reception | Luxury Wine Estate | Stellenbosch Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a professional and guest-focused Guest Relations Officer / Hotel Receptionist for a luxury wine estate in Stellenbosch . Requirements: Hospitality Certificate or Diploma Minimum 23 years experience in a front office or guest relations role Strong computer literacy and administrative abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Passion for hospitality and guest service excellence Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage with a distinguished clientele Professional, well-presented, and approachable manner Punctual, proactive, and self-disciplined with exceptional attention to detail Team player with a positive attitude and natural warmth Reliable transport to and from work Key Responsibilities: Welcome and introduce guests, ensuring a warm and professional first impression Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately Communicate relevant guest information to appropriate departments Assist guests with bookings, tours, transfers, and itinerary planning Ensure all guest information, billing, and rates are correct in the system Liaise with external guests and provide assistance to the on-site restaurant as required Update guest profiles and booking details on Protel Report maintenance concerns promptly to the manager on duty Prepare welcome letters, registration cards, and guest documentation Manage and maintain day sheets, guest call logs, and booking coordination Support Reservations, Spa, Housekeeping, and Restaurant teams as needed Handle lunch and dinner bookings using Dine-plan Conduct thorough shift handovers, including coordination with the Night Auditor Ensure all transfers are booked, tracked, and correctly charged Perform night audit duties twice per month Package: Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience To apply for the Guest Relations Officer / Hotel Receptionist position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements for the position will be contacted.
