About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping & Guest Services Attendant to join our upmarket guest house in Stellenbosch, where you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest comfort. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to a warm, personalised guest experience while preparing and serving breakfast to guests in a professional and welcoming manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Housekeeping Duties: Ensure bathrooms, linen and amenities are impeccably maintained; conduct room checks to uphold quality and presentation standards; maintain cleanliness of public and dining areas.
  • Breakfast Preparation & Service: Prepare and set up breakfast service (continental and basic hot options); assist with simple hot breakfast preparation; serve guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Room Checks and Maintenance: Report maintenance concerns promptly; ensure guest rooms are prepared to luxury hospitality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 23 years experience in an upmarket guest lodge, boutique hotel or guest house.
  • Proven housekeeping experience to high hospitality standards.
  • Experience preparing and serving breakfast in a guest house environment.
  • Well-presented, professional and guest-focused.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Good communication skills.
