Job Description

Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide professional, friendly service Schedule service and maintenance appointments Prepare and manage repair orders and service documentation Communicate with customers regarding service progress and repairs Liaise with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and turnaround times Provide clear explanations of maintenance and repair work to customers Promote service products, accessories, and maintenance plans where appropriate Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed services Maintain accurate service records and administrative documentation Requirements Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, retail, or a contact centre environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organisational and administrative abilities Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email) Basic knowledge of automotive terminology or mechanics would be advantageous Matric / Grade 12 required Personal Attributes Customer-focused and professional Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a proactive approach Good problem-solving ability ONLY SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED

Job Description

About the Role

The Junior Service Advisor role at our organisation serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring seamless motorcycle maintenance and repair experiences. As a key liaison, you will be responsible for facilitating customer interactions, managing workflow, and promoting services to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly
  • Creating and maintaining accurate repair orders, service records, and cost estimates
  • Acting as the link between customers and technicians, informing customers of vehicle status, and explaining technical repairs
  • Scheduling service appointments and managing the flow of vehicles to technicians
  • Promoting service products, accessories, and maintenance programs
  • Verifying completed work orders and performing follow-up checks to ensure client satisfaction

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
  • Further education in business or marketing is a plus
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a contact centre (minimum 1 Year)
  • Basic understanding of automotive mechanics or terminology would be beneficial
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Basic working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Emails
